Jacques Nichet et son com\u00e9dien Charlie Nelson r\u00e9veillent l\u2019\u00e2me myst\u00e9rieuse de Blaise Cendrars, singulier fabulateur. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Blaise Cendrars traversa le monde de part en part dans un si\u00e8cle qui d\u00e9couvrait la vitesse, se modernisait et fut secou\u00e9 par le tumulte des r\u00e9volutions et des guerres. De la Grande Guerre o\u00f9 il laissa un bras qui le fit \u00ab\u00a0po\u00e8te de la main gauche\u00a0\u00bb, il ne fut pas seulement le soldat mais en fut aussi un observateur lucide, ce dont il t\u00e9moignera plus tard dans \u00ab\u00a0La Main coup\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Pendant longtemps sa forte personnalit\u00e9 a jet\u00e9 un peu d\u2019ombre sur son \u0153uvre\u00a0; son rejet affich\u00e9 des milieux litt\u00e9raires, sa r\u00e9putation de grand voyageur et une rumeur insistante de mythomanie masquaient la singularit\u00e9 de son exp\u00e9rience d\u2019\u00e9crivain\u00a0\u00bb notait Claude Leroy dans son introduction \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9dition de la Pl\u00e9iade.
