De retour apr\u00e8s un long voyage, Charlie Marlow d\u00e9cide de raconter son histoire.\u00a0Le r\u00e9cit de sa descente au c\u0153ur de la jungle. La route fut sem\u00e9e d\u2019emb\u00fbches, d\u2019\u00e9preuves. Un troublant et magnifique r\u00e9cit initiatique o\u00f9 le h\u00e9ros apprendra la noirceur de l\u2019\u00e2me humaine \u00e0 ses d\u00e9pens.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On sait qu\u2019avant de se lancer dans la litte\u0301rature aux alentours de sa quarantie\u0300me anne\u0301e, Joseph Conrad avait\u00a0eu une premie\u0300re carrie\u0300re, de matelot a\u0300 officier de marine, pour devenir capitaine, le tout ayant dure\u0301 de 1874\u00a0a\u0300 1894. Il s\u2019e\u0301tait agi d\u2019une vocation inexplicable alors que le jeune Korzeniowski n\u2019avait encore jamais vu la mer. Et ce que Conrad aimait dans le me\u0301tier de marin c\u2019e\u0301tait surtout les qualite\u0301s morales qu\u2019il met en jeu, la manie\u0300re dont il fac\u0327onne un caracte\u0300re digne du nom d\u2019homme.<\/p>\n

L\u2019histoire, dont s\u2019est inspir\u00e9 Francis Ford Coppola pour \u00ab\u00a0Apocalypse Now\u00a0\u00bb, est connue : missionn\u00e9 par une compagnie coloniale belge, un jeune officier de marine marchande part \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un directeur de comptoir au fin fond de l\u2019Afrique noire. Pour cela, il devra remonter le fleuve Congo. Perdant tout contact avec la civilisation, il s\u2019enfonce dans la nuit d\u2019une nature inconnue, primitive, sauvage. Exotique, l\u2019aventure se mue en parcours initiatique. La qu\u00eate se fait existentielle.<\/p>\n

Associant \u00ab Le Bateau ivre \u00bb de Rimbaud au r\u00e9cit de Joseph Conrad, Michel Raskine signe un spectacle d\u2019une intensit\u00e9 br\u00fblante, port\u00e9 par deux com\u00e9diens incandescents, Marief Guittier et Thomas Rortais<\/p>\n
