Une qu\u00eate d’amour absolu<\/strong><\/p>\n

B\u00e9r\u00e9nice, jeune ado, tente d\u2019exister dans ce monde des adultes qui la r\u00e9volte. Un hymne \u00e0 la libert\u00e9, une \u0153uvre iconoclaste, \u00e9crite dans une langue explosive et po\u00e9tique, qui propulsa l\u2019auteur qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, R\u00e9jean Ducharme, au firmament de la litt\u00e9rature.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0La petite B\u00e9r\u00e9nice que tout avale, demeure l\u2019h\u00e9ro\u00efne phare de l\u2019\u0153uvre de Ducharme, d\u00e8s ce premier roman, il nous livre sans concession des images \u00e0 la puissance d\u00e9vastatrice, un langage au souffle ravageur et des personnages \u00e9corch\u00e9s vifs dont la pudeur maladive accentuent l\u2019authenticit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Sa langue ne coule pas de source ; elle b\u00e9gaie, secoue, cogne dur, invente ses idiomes, frappe le mur de la logique et nous atteint comme de v\u00e9ritables chocs \u00e9lectriques, il faut la traduire en faisant voir ses sonorit\u00e9s et entendre ses couleurs.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

L\u2019opposition \u00e0 la collectivit\u00e9, la religion, la famille, la qu\u00eate d\u2019identit\u00e9 et d\u2019autonomie sont au c\u0153ur de la d\u00e9marche de B\u00e9r\u00e9nice qui chevauche ses r\u00eaves et s\u2019agrippe \u00e0 son enfance pour mieux tenir \u00e0 distance les petitesses humaines.\u00a0 Rien ici ne laisse indiff\u00e9rent et le travail d\u2019adaptation et de mise en sc\u00e8ne de Lorraine Pintal sert avec force et beaut\u00e9 l\u2019authentique g\u00e9nie de l\u2019auteur.<\/p>\n
