Confession d\u2019un auteur majeur<\/strong>. Accord\u00e9s au journaliste et \u00e9crivain J\u00e9r\u00f4me Beaujour et retravaill\u00e9s par la suite, ces entretiens sont l’occasion pour Marguerite Duras d’aborder sans tabou tous ses sujets de pr\u00e9dilection, l’enfance en Indochine, le rapport \u00e0 la m\u00e8re, les lieux fondateurs de sa vie d’adulte, la vie amoureuse et sexuelle, l’alcool\u2026 Catherine Artigala d\u00e9roule avec grande justesse cette vie hors norme.<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Vie Mat\u00e9rielle<\/em> a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue au d\u00e9part comme une s\u00e9rie d\u2019entretiens avec le journaliste-\u00e9crivain J\u00e9r\u00f4me Beaujour. Progressivement les questions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 gomm\u00e9es et le dialogue s\u2019est transform\u00e9 en un long monologue autour de la pens\u00e9e de l\u2019autrice. Marguerite Duras se livre sans tabou, nous parle d\u2019elle, de sa vie, intime et professionnelle, de son enfance, des lieux fondateurs (Paris, Neauphle-le-Ch\u00e2teau, Trouville), de sa rencontre d\u00e9terminante avec Yann Andr\u00e9a, de l\u2019\u00e9criture un peu, et de l\u2019ivresse alcoolique. Elle parle de la femme qu\u2019elle a \u00e9t\u00e9, qu\u2019elle est, de sa vie amoureuse et sexuelle, et \u00e0 travers elle, de toutes les femmes, m\u00e8res, amantes, femmes au foyer\u2026 des hommes aussi, du d\u00e9sir, de l\u2019amour\u2026 \u00ab Le livre ne repr\u00e9sente tout au plus que ce que je pense certaines fois, certains jours, de certaines choses.<\/em> \u00bb dira-t-elle. On est en 1987, elle a 73 ans, elle est \u00e0 l\u2019apog\u00e9e de sa carri\u00e8re d\u2019autrice et de cin\u00e9aste.
De cet encha\u00eenement de textes, Michel Monnereau a privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments concrets de la vie quotidienne pour les assembler en un spectacle d\u2019une heure au cours duquel \u00ab \u2026Duras d\u00e9noue le lien qu\u2019elle entretient au monde, aux rapports homme\/femme, \u00e0 la sexualit\u00e9, \u00e0 son enfance. Il est question de ses obsessions, de ses peurs, de ses convictions. On d\u00e9couvre une Duras se d\u00e9battant dans un quotidien qu\u2019elle peine \u00e0 ma\u00eetriser, se lovant dans la sensualit\u00e9, chemin magnifique vers le plaisir, m\u00ealant l\u2019interdit et la gr\u00e2ce comme un pied de nez magistral fait \u00e0 la bien-pensance bourgeoise et confortable.<\/em> \u00bb William Mesguich<\/p>\n\n\n\n
