Premi\u00e8re femme journaliste fran\u00e7aise, n\u00e9e en 1832, cette aventuri\u00e8re traversa de mani\u00e8re \u00e9pique tout le 19\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, rencontrant et c\u00f4toyant les grandes figures de son temps, elle fut l\u2019amie intime de Th\u00e9ophile Gautier, Alexandre Dumas, ou encore Victor Hugo. Son temp\u00e9rament libre et ind\u00e9pendant lui valu les foudres de nombreux ennemis dont Jules Barbey d\u2019Aurevilly et le baron Haussmann. Une femme audacieuse et pr\u00e9curseure qui fonda son propre journal, voyagea \u00e0 travers le monde entier, participa \u00e0 la Commune de Paris et fut une figure majeure du f\u00e9minisme fran\u00e7ais dans une \u00e9poque en pleine transition politique et sociale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
